Your service matters, and we’re here to ensure you receive the honor you deserve, including benefits provided by the VA such as a headstone, flag, a Presidential Memorial Certificate, a gravesite.
When is it time for hospice? The answer is simpler than you might think. For those facing a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less, hospice isn’t about giving up – it’s about embracing life’s precious moments with those who matter most.
Our approach transforms medical care into something more meaningful. We focus on comfort, managing symptoms so you can focus on what’s important: time with family and friends. Our dedicated team provides comprehensive support that touches every aspect of your journey – physical comfort, emotional well-being, and spiritual peace.
We understand this decision isn’t easy. But waiting doesn’t have to be part of your story. Starting hospice care earlier means more support, more comfort, and more meaningful moments with loved ones. Let us help you and your family find strength and serenity during this important time.
To begin hospice care, a person needs a life expectancy of six months or less if their illness follows its natural course. Both the patient’s primary physician and our hospice medical director will confirm this prognosis. We understand that every journey is unique, and hospice support can continue beyond six months as long as medical eligibility requirements are met.
We’re here to support you and your loved ones through every step of this journey. Have questions or need assistance? Our caring team is ready to listen and help.
I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to American Hospice Connection for the compassion they showed to my aunt at the end of her life. When I called on a Saturday morning in February 2023, everyone jumped into action right away. We were able to get the entire team of nurses and caregivers in place immediately, but unfortunately, we said goodbye to Gen within a matter of days. It is so comforting to know there are organizations out there that can be so compassionate and reassuring under such difficult circumstances.
